Section 3

The following scholarships do not have websites. You need to contact these agencies directly for more information.

Scholarship Amount: The student can select either Tuition and Fees (to be used at SBCC) or Room and Board at a flat rate of $10,000 per school year. Once transferring to UCSB, the benefits will carry over and the student is given the opportunity quarterly to select either Tuition and Fees or Room and Board. Out of state students selecting Tuition and Fees will have the entire amount paid for through the scholarship. Additionally, students will receive a stipend monthly and book payments per semester at SBCC and quarterly once transferred to UCSB.
Scholarship Criteria: Scholar, Athlete, Leader
Scholarship Programs: The Army ROTC Scholarship Program provides financial assistance for the education and training of highly qualified and motivated young men and women who desire to be commissioned as officers in the Army Reserves, National Guard, or Active Duty after graduation from college. SBCC students can now enroll in the UCSB Army ROTC program while attending SBCC and receive the same financial benefits offered to UCSB students.
UCSB Army ROTC offers 2-3 year scholarships for qualified SBCC students who intend on transferring and completing their four-year degree at UCSB, CSUCI or Westmont.
Contact: UCSB Army ROTC at (805) 893-2769 or visit us at UCSB, Building 451, Mesa Road. You can also contact us at our website
